ICYMI: Han So Hee’s Newest Netflix Series ‘My Name’ Drops on Netflix This October

After confirming the production of the new series My Name during their See What’s Next Korea event back in February, Netflix has finally announced that the thrilling new K-drama will be making its premiere on the site this October 15. The drama stars Han So Hee, who we all last saw in the drama Nevertheless, Park Hee Soon, and Ahn Bo Hyun.

Aside from the release date announcement, Netflix has also unveiled the teaser poster for the title. It features a “haunting image” of Han So Hee’s Ji Woo who’ll be taking a 180-degree turn from her roles in previous dramas The World of the Married and Nevertheless. The poster shows her in a dark alleyway, with a look that seems as though she had “just survived fierce combat.”

My Name centers on a revenge-driven woman who joins a crime ring and becomes an undercover police officer to find her father’s killer. Stopping at nothing for her revenge, she eventually comes face-to-face with brutal truths.

The 8-episode drama comes from director Kim Jin Min, who also teamed up with Netflix for the much-acclaimed K-drama Extracurricular. It stars Han So Hee, Park Hee Soon, Ahn Bo Hyun, Kim Sang Ho, Lee Hak Ju, Hang Yull, and more.

My Name premieres on Netflix this October 15.
