‘Alice in Borderland’ to Resume its Death Games on Netflix This December

Alice in Borderland returns for a second season on Netflix this December!

Released back in December 2020, the live-action series about death games quickly garnered a following in Japan and around the world. The first season followed Arisu and his friends Chota and Karube, as they are suddenly transported to the mysterious Borderland, where inhabitants are forced to play deadly challenges to survive.

For the upcoming season, Arisu and his ally Usagi will play more violent games that will test their intelligence, strength, and teamwork, in the hopes of finding a way back to their original world. The 10 key characters who survived the last game of the first season have been confirmed to return. Watch the cast announcement below:

Based on the manga ‘Imawa-no-Kuni-no-Arisu’, Alice in Borderland stars Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, Nijiro Murakami, Ayaka Miyoshi, Dori Sakurada, Aya Asahina, Yutaro Watanabe, Tsuyoshi Abe, Sho Aoyagi, and Riisa Naka. It is directed by Shinsuke Sato with a screenplay co-written by Sato with Yasuko Kuramitsu.
